That's so cool given the fact that there's no other peak around it. Makes me wonder what kind of nature force made it.

Thank you very much that you chose my photo! Congratulations to all winners!

Is it ok if I appear on the picture or do they have to be scenery only?

I might be wrong but I think you can be on the picture, there is no trouble with that. But the main subject should be mountains.

Early morning reflection of Mt. Adams at Takhlakh Lake in Washington State.

I think beside fog, moutains in the back make this photo great aswell. Weather conditions that happen once per year if you are lucky to photograph them !

Cerro Castillos - Chile

This is the view, from the city, of the amazing Cerro Castillo in Villa Cerro Castillos - Chile. I've been there for several days camping on the montains, Cerro Castillo is a 2,675m peak and is amongst the most technical peaks to climb.

My entry is the Neuschwanstein Castle in the fading event sunlight. I'm starting to like that B/W stuff :)

Sunset colours in Queenstown, New Zealand. The last warm lights from the setting sun that's disappearing behind the mounting giving this amazing scenery. A mix between geometric shapes from the electric posts and the burning mountain at the back... What a view!

Location: Queenstown, NZ.

here is my picture to one of the beautiful glaciers around Franz Jozef. We are so high up ! and you look at the frozen glacier river. You really have to see this picture in full.

We had stopped for night Lappland on Naturrastplats Koulitisjaure near the Norwegian-Swedish border. The sun sets pretty late in summer there (22:42 on photo), so I had lots of time to scout the area after setting our camp. Beautiful place!

Mount Kanlaon
DSC_9304.jpg
I took this shot while we're still in a bus. I was sleepy that time but when I saw this scenery, I hurriedly reached out for my cam (a Nikon D5200) and took the shot while my head is outside the window. It is Mount Kanlaon seen at the road going to Don Salvador from San Carlos City.
