I made this photo yesterday in the Blue Bay of Sevastopol. I went there in the evening with my family and I took a tripod and a camera with me. Choosing a place to shoot, I installed a tripod. But the wind was so strong that I had to hold hands while shooting. And when the sun appeared for a few seconds because of the clouds, it turned out that the lens glass was covered with small sea drops that gave an interesting optical effect.
It turned out that the strong wind that brought the drops was the harbinger of a real storm that is now raging outside my window ...

Wow, this is awesome! The yellow corner as a contrast to the otherwise quite blueish/greenish image with those additional drops - nice!

My entry @naturecontest #waterwednesday is just a simple photo from our family outing.

I shot this stitched panoramic photo Sunday evening at Secret Cove, Lake Tahoe. Insanely clear lake water and some cold white water. One of my favorite spots on the lake.

Give water enough time and it will punch a hole through rock. I took this shot just south of Big Sur in California, Rocky Creek Bridge is in the background.

My husband and I took a drive through Hell's Canyon about 2 weeks ago and got some stunning shots of the seasons changing from winter to spring. This little park is the launch site for reaching the hot spring on the opposite shore. Those are blackberry bushes in the foreground, and they produce huge, delicious berries. Berries, hot springs, gorgeous views... not quite what most people expect from "Hell!" Taken with Fuji FinePix S8300.

1/10th of a second is my favourite exposure time when shooting fast moving water. It gives the nice lines and still sharp details. Shooting the breaking waves against the setting sun is always a great idea!

I took this sunset shot on the gulf coast of Florida with my GoPro Hero 5 Silver. Because the camera is waterproof, I wasn't worried about holding it right at the level of the water as waves were breaking on the shore. Though GoPros are commonly used for video, I find myself using mine more often for stills. It's no substitute for a DSLR, but in wet conditions it's nice little camera that slips easily into a pocket.

Taken at the westcoast of Fuerteventura, after quite an exhausting trip through the desert. This is actually at 4sec exposure with both Pol - & Greyfilter attached.

Wine Glass Bay in Tasmania, shot from Mt Amos. I waited for an hour and the top of the mountain to get this view through the clouds and it was only visible for a few seconds. Well worth the wait

If you ever visit San Francisco, be sure to take one of several sightseeing cruises offered by the family-owned Red and White Fleet that have been in business since 1892. During your one-hour tour, you will view historic landmarks and beautiful sights including Alcatraz Island, The Golden Gate Bridge, The Presidio, and many more attractions without having to step foot on shore.

This is my entry for #waterwednesday Title: 'Dingy at Dusk.'
This image was captured at Bribie Island in Queensland, Australia. Dusk was falling. It cast an appealing light on this seascape and left a lasting impression on me.

This photo was taken in Marina Bay Sand in Singapore. The perfect combination of water, music land the landscape. This is also the most interesting place whenever you travel to Singapore!
