The sun penetrates through thick clouds as the parched red soil dreams of rain. Taken in the arid lands at the foot of Mt Grenfell in central west New South Wales. Outback New South Wales, Australia

A coconut tree forest in El Nido, Philippines. Watching the locals effortlessly climb to the top of these trees to get the coconuts is quite a show!
Edit: Whoops, just realized that I posted my contest entry as a reply to your image - sorry!
I could do with some heat at the moment ! Winter holding on here.

I had gone for a walk near Rio Verde, Mexico and was walking throughout fields where locals were growing all kinds of things, especially oranges and the smell of oranges was everywhere. While I was walking I came across this scene.

Shot on a hike through the forest during the morning hours. Fog was pretty apparent and the sun was not really coming through. The atmosphere really reminded me of some x-files episodes...
Thanks for your submission and it is a bit ominous with the fog.

This photo was taken up in the mountain of Mount Glorious in QLD, Australia. It was a cold and wet day which was perfect, the rain had brought out the colours in the trunks of the gum trees and the clouds were sitting on the top of the mountain making it look all misty and foggy.
Hi @jayclar the colors and light are really amazing. The fog or mist really make it look like a painting.
Thank you @sjarvie5, we were up in the clouds for most of the day, it was quite annoying at times as it would get so thick we could barely see ahead of us... but they certainly made this picture : ) Not a great day to go to the lookouts!! ; )
Really beautiful
Thank you @fredfaustin! : )

Thank you!! I'll check it out now!! : )
I took this photo at Talabong Mangrove Park. That tree covering the pathway to the bridge is a mangrove! Yes, I can't even believe my own eyes seeing a mangrove grown that big. The hut seen from afar is the entrance to this place. Because this is located in an island.
thanks @vanj for this submission. That is a huge tree.
This shot was taken on Film using my Nikon FM2 and I just love snow on trees!
Hi @vtravels that is cool that you are using film. I also love snow on trees.
Yeah I love film, I always take a film camera with me too!
Bonsai Rock usually gets all the attention at this popular Lake Tahoe photo location. But this time, the tree on the sidelines got the spotlight.
Thanks for this submission Scott, another beautiful picture of Lake Tahoe!
Thank you @sjarvie5! I should really travel more... but it's hard when I live in what I consider paradise.
You are so fortunate to live so close to such beauty, a place that others travel to see. I am so happy you share it with us.
It's true, I feel very lucky to live here. Happy to share!

I took this photo at Boztepe, Turkey. A wonderful setting with blue skies behind pine trees.
Thank you for your submission. One of my favorite things is looking up through the pine trees.
After a difficult climb from the bottom of Gordale Scar to the top (climbing up a waterfall) you are greeted with open fields and dry stone walls. This tree was growing from the top of this wall.
Hi Mark, This is a beautiful photo and really stands out in black and white

We had been walking in the woods of Saxon Switzerland that pretty cloudy day. It was raining all the way. We were at the border of the forest when suddenly sun appeared through the clouds, sending the last rays. Everything was illuminated in the woods. The light reflecting from the wet trunks created the mystic atmosphere. I was enchanted.
Dmytro always a pleasure to see your beautiful tree pictures.
