Constantly shifting the clouds seem to form an integral part of the landscape in the Great Bear Rainforest. The rainforest covers 6.4 million hectare (15.8 million acre) stretch area along British Columbia’s north and central coast and forms part of the larger Pacific temperate rainforest ecoregion, which is the largest coastal temperate rainforest in the world. This shot was taken of the remote and rugged mountain ranges that line the narrow inside passage between Princess Royal Island and the mainland of British Columbia. Canada.

Congrats on being a WINNER in Trees Tuesday Week 8!

Pine tree landscape in Alpe di Siusi in northern Italy. I love how the tree in the foreground has decided to grow on top of the rock, right above the water. Life on earth finds its way everywhere it can.

😍 It almost looks like an Ent sitting and meditating on the rock.

Haha yes, it does :) that's going to be a life-long meditation! 😂

The rays of sunlight illuminated the clearing in the forest, where a large pine was recently cut down, and next to it a row of young mountain ash rose. Life goes on!

Trees that grow between the steep rocks are strong plants. Although the source of his food is limited he persists and is unshakable

Here is my entry. A nice route in the croatian mountains around with this beautiful flora :)

Tatra Mountains, Poland, 2016
This is I guess another picture from my favourite mountains in Poland. I took this after hiking, when the sun was going down...

A maple tree in the fog along the seawall in Vancouver.

For me, a tree is a symbol of the power and life and the invitation to us to take care of nature.

This tree is very particular, it is the only tree found on the small island of Cubagua (Venezuela). The island has a completely xerophytic vegetation but it has an incredible tree on this desolate island. Hope you like.

Some barren juniper trees I found atop a hill at my favorite place to escape, Bear Lake, Utah.

When a bicentennial tree decides to give up on life, you better not be below its shade. This tree was hollow and rotting from the inside, after many years it colapsed this week at one of my city's parks.

Love your photograph @naturecontest especially the tree shadows in the snow.
