Texture of an old dry tree, which for a long time lay under the scorching rays of the sun, and in some places cracks are visible. Ants live in it.

Light clouds create a beautiful, heavenly texture. The passing gull enlivens the picture.

Photo was taken in Tatra Mountains in Poland in November, so winter didn't start yet but it was possible to see first snow.

Congrats on being a WINNER in Textures Thursday Week 9!

Thank you :)

I couldn't believe how much this rock looked like wood, it has obviously been warped and put under so much pressure over the hundreds of thousands of years!

Congrats on being a WINNER in Textures Thursday Week 9!

Oh wow... I thought it was wood when I saw it! It wasn't petrified? That's amazing!!

Yeah me too! No its not petrified at all! Its obviously been formed like that with lava over the years!

Mother nature is so wonderful!! : )
