And to be so close by, it was really a treat! But that is everything in new zealand. :-) Happy that we live in the digital era :-) so many pictures :-)
Haha, yeah, I remember bringing 12 rolls of 36 exposure slide film onto flights back in the day and thinking that was a ton of possible shots. Haven't shot film since I bought a decent digital camera.
I am 54 now, when I was 15 I got a praktica 6tl, But I had to safe up for a filmroll, I just had enough for 24 fotos. It had to take me a while. :-) Only on holiday I had more. And when I moved to Crete, they were so expensive! :-o But I still bought them, and than the charm of bringing your roll in, and had to wait a week before you had your pictures :-)
Nice! Yup, that waiting was tough, but then opening the envelope of prints was like opening up a present on Christmas morning. It was fun, but I must admit, I like the instant gratification of digital better :)
So do I :-) Mine are now everywhere on all pc's we have... feels like the same present when I find them back again, I am a bit A technical :-) and chaototic.
Haha! That's a good way to get that "present" feeling.
