Hey everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you to my new contribution and hope you had a weekend which has brought numerous interesting experiences into your life! Today I decided to introduce a plant that I photographed in more detail and I am happy if you can expand your knowledge about nature.
You can see here pictures of a Bush lily which is also known under the scientific name Clivia and this popular houseplant is cultivated by many people around the globe. The origin lies in the southern part of Africa where during the dry period sometimes above-average temperatures prevail and because of that it's not hardy and if it should be cultivated in areas with cool winters, care should be taken to bring it inside and to make sure that in the winter quarters is a temperature that should not drop below 15 degrees Celsius. Presumably it was named after the nickname of Duchess Lady Charlotte Florentias (1787 - 1866) who had her sphere of influence in Northumberland, which is located in the northern part of England and attracts thousands of visitors every year due to the breathtaking landscapes. In England, the Bush lily has spread particularly strong and was exported from there to many other countries and can be described as a relatively undemanding or easy-care plant, but it's important to choose a bright location and to pay attention to the correct watering. Waterlogging should be avoided in any case, but the soil should not become too dry and regular watering is of enormous importance and if the clivia feels comfortable, it reaches moderate sizes up to one metre as well as delicate flowers which have an orange color and show themselves relatively early in the year.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about this topic! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens.
I have never seen this one, seems like an adapt plant for inside unless you live in Middle earth side, 15 degree is pretty high requirement
Thanks a lot for your feedback

Quite the first time I am seeing this. It looks so beautiful
Quite different from the common water lilies! However, these seem brighter, colorful, and attractive.
Awesome contribution.
