Howling Moon

The 'Blood Wolf Moon' Sunday night was the last lunar eclipse we'll see for 2.5 years! I've watched them before, but figured I'd try and photograph this one as it won't be around for some time. I took most of the phases, so expect to see some more and maybe a composite soon.

Awesome shot of this event, it was just to cold for me to go out and try to get shots

I hear ya! It was cold here too, but not frigid. Thankfully I was able to shoot on my front porch, so could go in occasionally and warm up. :)

I checked outside ver briefly but didnt have a good view of it without a bit of a walk and decided against that LOL

Nice. What setup did you use? We had mixed clouds so I did not get any high def shots of the moon but might be able to work something out of them.

Thanks @intrepidphotos. It was shot with a Nikon d7500, 70-300mm kit lens at 300mm, f8, 1.6s.

Checked out your feed, great stuff...following!

Thanks. That's is a great shot to get with a kit lens. What ISO ? I would have thought the moon would have movement blur a 1.6s without a tracking mount.

Sorry, forgot to add that spec...I believe it was 640 ISO. I was getting blurring with exposures over 2 seconds.
