It's not really called that, I made that name up as it's the first dragonfly I had ever seen with those amazing blue eyes.
It was hard to get closer to this one, but eventually got it! :)
These guys are very shy and alert. It is not an easy thing to take close up of them. I love them right from my childhood. I didn't know the name of this insect so I used to call them 'helicopter'. Their flying skill is unparalleled in living world. They also help us by eating mosquitoes etc.

Yes! they are amazing creatures :)
The blue eye may be their adaptive features which enable them to escape from their predator or catch their preys...
It may also help them to adapt to their environment
