Another one of the beautiful plants I have the gift of working with at my job as a gardener, the tall and spiky monkey puzzle tree. I can see why it might be puzzling to a monkey who wanted to climb it.
I love these trees, and the ways that the overlapping spines create spiraling patterns down the branches.

Nice interesting pattern on your subject, good decision on the depth of field as it help the viewer to focus on some part of the subject only.
