The worst owner in all of sports, James Dolan, has made his best decision of his nightmare tenure as knicks owner by parting ways with Phil Jackson. Phil might be the zen master but he did not show any patience in his new role. However, he did display and abundance of arrogance in his stubborn belief that the triangle is relevant in any way in today's NBA. Phil wasted years trying to prove he was right doing it 'his way'. So now the knicks have Hornacek scraping the triangle in year 2 and becoming a scapegoat for next season. This will result in a high pick but also a new system for Porzingis and more knicks disfuction for him to experience.
Knicks fans have endured decades of horrible ownership and we can only pray Kristaps and his European role players can gel and make next season watchable while building a foundation for future run & fun basketball on the big stage, New York City!
