Appreciate the NBA news..thanks. I notice you didn't mention this brewing refs/players dust-up that seems to be increasing. It could be a real problem going forward.

I think I had mentioned an article a week or two ago about the tensions between refs and players and how they will be having a sit-down over All-Star weekend. I'm sure it will all get figured out and there will be a bit of a "meeting in the middle" type of thing.
As for the new All-Star format, I'm a fan, but I'm going to reserve judgement until after it actually happens. There's no cohesive argument that the All-Star game was getting better, so I think a breath of fresh air to change things up will be nice. I like the idea of players not being divided by East and West because we will get to see player combinations we never would have seen otherwise.
