I liked steemsports way better, when they were actually distributing the money they make.

To enrich the owners of steemsports.
On free play game models they are only giving away 30%. I'm guessing the 70% they keep is not enough for them, so they make theese kinds of posts fooling the users playing the game.
But you just said that people cannot win any rewards? I'm confused, please clarify. I know there was a lot of drama about steemsports draining the pool's money so it seems a bit unlikely that the resolution was to take even more no?

Also other posts that had it enabled showed it on their site and they mark the post as free play + pay play.
Development funds need to come from somewhere eh?
Note: The outcomes are currently still in the comments because the web-app pulls them in to create the game on the front-end, required for both free and paid games. I noticed there was some confusion in this regard, even though the game title indicated "PAY PLAYS" only, comments will be removed in version 2 of the web-app along with stats and game loading delay fixes between the blockchain and webapp which can currently take up to 18 minutes.

Downvoted for still posting the team logos in the comments to vote on when this is a "pay to play" game.

There was no dishonesty, the comments need to be there for the web-app to use them for pay plays. Update 2.0 will fix that. See my comment above and please read this update:

I haven't been able to access the website all day, the blue dot in the center just makes it seems like it's loading.
Blue dot means no active games at present.
It's working now. I guess I just tried getting it at the wrong time twice, but it's strange because just last night I tried it after a game had been posted with no luck. I'm just glad it's working now, thanks!

I sent a direct steam back dollar bet on the Houston rockets and I am looking on steam sports and see that only tonight's Milwaukee Bucks versus New York game is pending Pay out it was my wager missed or is that game still pending

None at all, you are entitled to show your grievance. Have confirmed this was a manual payout post, when we upgraded to v2. Waiting for our dev team to give us an ETA. We are addressing the user interface issues which will make future games more user-friendly. Thanks for understanding and sorry for the delay.
Thanks it was finally paid, now I won minn vs Houston it was paid out and I was not paid again. And there was no spaces😰
I did some research to find out what had happened.
This game has been cancelled from our automated payout system due to breaking upgrades. So we had to payout the winnings manually.
Unfortunately, your bet was made manually and it has an empty space at the end of the memo, and thus while searching for winners, it didn't come up.
We will be refunding the payment, as well as implementing a filter that removes empty spaces for potential future copy-paste errors.
Edit: As a token of apology for late response, I've refunded double the amount.
