Jazz realizing Donovan Mitchell's future is brighter than Rodney Hood. Jae Crowder I suppose will add defense and toughness, and D. Rose will certainly be cut. I suppose Hood was going to want a large contract as well soon, so that played into the trade.
Really happy for my Miami Heat. D Wade's leadership is huge for the young guys on the team. Whiteside, Winslow, T. Johnson, J. Richardson all benefit hugely from his presence.
Yea I still think the Hood thing was a little weird. With the Lou Williams extension coming in lower than many expected, I think the Jazz could have kept Hood for similar money. Sure they run the risk of another team paying up for him, but it's not like they got much back anyway so what's the harm?
Happy to see Wade go back to Miami. You could tell he didn't fit well with the Cavs and I think this basically signals that this will be his last season in the NBA.
