The minus of machine knitting is the noise... so depending on where you live and where you do your knitting it may become an issue, but I recommend it.
Incidentally, I've also actually got a toy knitting machine that I bought from ebay very cheaply (quite plastic), but the manual was really very good ! it knits double knitting yarn rather than 4ply, but it's good fun as well...Thank you @luthvarian. I know... the timing was self-imposed...
