Your placemats are beautiful and colorful! I am very hesitant when it comes to custom order! I had a woman who customed order two hats for her sons and then refused to pay up. Nothing I can do, but I just irritated because I had to go to JoAnne to buy the yarns...
That was really rude of her! Did you at least get to use the yarn for something else? That's definitely the pitfall to not collecting the money up front...hmm, I might not be able to win either way!

I went out to buy the yarn and made the hats for her two boys! When come delivering the hats and collecting the money, she told me she changed her mind and I insisted that it was customed order to fit her son's head size, (he has a huge head). The worst part was that she was my neighbor so I didn't think she could do some stunts like that. After this ordeal, I just can't trust anyone when it comes to custom orders.
😱 I cannot believe she'd just say "I changed my mind" AFTER you went to all the trouble!! How rude.
