El chifón es una tela que se caracteriza por ser muy liviana y con una textura muy sedosa, está hecha con hilos crepé. Saludos mis estimados amigos de la plataforma Hive y en especial a la comunidad de #needleworkmonday, el día de hoy les traigo una hermosa blusa de vestir.
Before I tell you the steps to follow to make the blouse, I want to tell you the following: as a sewing beginner, making a blouse with chiffon fabric was a bit complicated for me, it is a very smooth and slippery type of fabric. The technique that I used to avoid problems was, first place many pins when cutting and then baste (hand sew beforehand) the blouse. For later, sew with the machine. The truth is that this technique helped me a lot, so I recommend it.
Antes de indicarles los pasos a seguir para la elaboración de la blusa, quiero contarles lo siguiente: como principiante de la costura, elaborar una blusa con tela de chifón fue para mí un poco complicado, es un tipo de tela muy lisa y escurridiza. La técnica que utilice para evitarme problemas fue, primero colocar muchos alfileres a la hora de cortar y luego hilvane (coser a mano de forma previa) la blusa. Para luego, coser con la máquina. La verdad que esta técnica me sirvió mucho, así que se las recomiendo.

Luego el siguiente paso que realice, fue cortar la zona del frente y de atrás. Básicamente se sacan 2 piezas iguales, pero la parte de adelante se baja un poco en la zona del cuello.
Two 60 cm long and wide strips are cut, one 10 cm and the other 5 cm. For the contour of the shoulders and chest.

Chiffon is hard to sew, but the results are so beautiful! My great aunt used tissue paper under the fabric as she guided it through the sewing machine. I prefer washaway stabilizer.
