First I select river rock colors for the scarf.
I will mix three different colors for each fringe added.
Here is where I started the scarf.
Now adding fringe.
Using US size 10 knitting needles and you can see the purple crochet hook for pulling the yarn through to make the fringe.
My scarf's first use is at coffee shop.

I think you can vote anytime after 15 minutes. Nice colors and a pretty scarf. I love making them for the family and they love getting them.
I really like the variegated fringe. I will have to try that!
Thanks for the idea!
Tip!
Thanks for the generous tip. I never know when mine runs out. You warned me about that. It goes fast.
I know knitting is so good for my nerves. I do love this scarf. I think I am ready to try more expensive yarn. lol. Now I need more money. Expensive car repairs recently gave me incentive to keep working on the scarf.
This is awesome, I'm afraid needlework isn't one if my talents!
hey @michellereneekid how have you been?

It so cool that you can take some wool and make such an attractive wrap. Good to see these skills still alive and kicking it.
Thanks so much. I am glad you are back. I forgot to upvote myself. Is it too late? I think you have to vote at 15 minutes.. I am confused about the new rules with Hardfork 20. lol
That's a nice scarf. I adore the fringe.
thank you. It is the first one I have made with this kind of fringe. I am really enjoying it.

I could really do with one of these scarves this morning as there is a bitter wind blowing from the North! 😂love the colours too 🦋🌈🌴💛🍀
It is so fun to feel it comforting me. I think you should make one and put it on the #mondayneedlework
I have made s fair few in my lifetime - my mother taught me how to knit when I was very young and I passed many happy hours clicking my needles together - I never became the incredible knitter she is but I had a lot of fun which is the most important thing after all. 🌈😂🌴🦋
your scarf' is amazing, you are multitalented, i'm glad you are my friend. love your style. ❤
thanks, very kind of you to say. :)

I really love these colors!!!! 😍 It turned out lovely! Your knit so beautifully! Thanks for sharing with us this week!
Thank you... I really enjoy your group. :)
You’re welcome! I’m so glad you are enjoying yourself!! 🤗
I love the yarn!!! The soft change of shades is beautiful and so is your scarf 😍 I have never added fringes, but as I am also knitting a scarf, I want to do it!!! (But my scarf is growing soooo slowly - sigh)
I am curious if it is the photo/perspective or if you used twisted stitches?
The scarf is not perfect but there are no twisted stitches unless of course, you spot a few. LOL
I have not blocked it yet and yes there are imperfections. I plan on becoming much better. I love this.
You folks are a huge blessing in my life.
Answer the photo: I did garner stitches except for 2 rows before each color change. Actually, I was planning to do something else and then fell victim to not paying attention in the beginning so simply changed up the pattern I planned.
This scarf got me through the suspense of my car repair. I love hand work as life has to anchor when my mind is knitting.
Thanks for your comment I am such a beginner among you guys.
Nooo do not feel like a beginner (as I am a beginner too :-D... I think I am just doing ok with faking on photos :-DDD) Your scarf is really nice and I asked with the stitches, as I have a pattern here which asked for twisted stitches and I have never done this. I thought, it looked a bit like your photo. And I have a very uncommon knitting style, so I always have to change patterns, as my stitches look completely different, if I would follow the normal advices.
And with the car: grrrrr... cars can be so expensive. Ours broke a month ago, but we were so fortunate to get my husband’s parents old one. This was so great! I hope you have also support <3 <3
It is so nice to know you a little more. We think alike. I thought about it and what you might see is my change in stitches..there were supposed to be more than 2 rows purled when changing colors only .. I only did two rows. I felt I must be consistent since I changed the pattern. lol @neumannsalva
yep if modifying than hardcore :-DDDD
And dito with the get to know <3
❤️
I love the colours you've chosen, I think they will match almost any colour coat.
Well done!
thanks for your encouragement. I picked those for that reason.
Makes life easier, when things are matching easily!
howdy there rebeccabe! well that's a really nice scarf and knitting is kind or therapeutic isn't it?
@janton yes it is some men do things like knitting. My husband works with wood. I do enjoy it.
You guys are both very skillful and it provides some interesting posting material too! lol.
thanks!
