RE: New Beginnings to War and Peace

in #neighbours5 years ago

Two weeks ago we had a strong wind coming from the south which always does more damage than those coming from the west as they most often do. My fence, five feet into my property, is rotten as well, but I believe it is now held up by a blackberry bramble and an overgrown rhododendron?
The last neighbors threatened adverse possession of my land saying it'd been that way over ten years (a solid fence they put up on my property) and that I had enough yard anyway. Well, there used to be a neighbors gate and the man I bought my house from twenty plus years ago helped the little old lady with yard and home. In 2007 we had a hurricane and the gate flew off and the neighbors nailed it shut, a solid fence, only to threaten to sue after the ten passed. Anyway, to avoid court and not loose a small section of my double lot I agreed to sign saying they could use my yard until they moved. Luckily, they sold this past year to a gay couple from Seattle who seem nice enough, but then I started getting group texts about rats and none of us ought to put out compost...
Your post is reminding me that I've got to go over and talk to mine as well. Uggghhh. Here's to happy fence talk--is there a fence angel?

Sort:

Googled in sharing your axious anticipation.
In finding an angel right for the job: this might do the trick.

The outcome promises to be this:

Anyone who does not believe that every solution lies on-line is asking to live with unresolved issues.

Yay, the situation will improve card is amazing!
And, very profound on every solution lies on-line... I know I just mentioned just that on another of your lines. Wish I had a gathered collection of your words of wisdom.
