Took this picture of C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) with my camera last night. The closest I could take with my camera. 10 seconds, ISO 1600, F4.5, 70-120mm lens. If I had a goto mount, I could have taken a longer exposure to see the tail more. You could hardly see it from with the naked eye. Even with my binoculairs it was hard to find.
Last night it was closest to the earth. As it came from behind the sun, it will lose it's tail. So I guess that is why it is harder to see now. But I wanted to take the chance to get it on picture. As I will not be around here when it comes back in about 6000 years.
Awesome... we have had clouds most nights so I haven't had a chance to see it... guess I will have to wait for the next go-round (LOL... j/k)
