This was the color of our first watermelon during summer break.
We buy watermelon often in season and this time it was a surprise. Never ever before I had a yellow watermelon. It tasted okay but felt more watery than regular one. So after that purchase we read the sticker with a name on it more carefully, can’t assume it will be red.
So, when we have a slow going day off, and we want to be lazy, we eat more fruits and oatmeal. It’s easy to prepare and at the same time it’s healthy
We can eat oatmeal for breakfast or for dinner, if there is some honey and berries then kids will eat. I think freshly cooked oatmeal is healthier than cereal but we have cereal in our pantry as an urgent
food.
More heavy meals with meat I cook on a regular day of the week, when we spend more energy and feel like eating more protein would help us keep going.
