So essentially most of hive is quite quiet right now, or at least the little bubble we exist in is. The market is down, everyone's a bit weary waiting for a bull that is seemingly never going to come (hint: it will), but as we just plod along doing our thing waiting for our assets to appreciate I don't just want to sit here doing nothing, letting us grow cobwebs.
So I've switched up our marketing as of late to position us in a better situation for next year. Sure, we'll grow over this year and as the bull market is in full force but I'd like to just continue to grow our socials into something a little better.
Right now I've figured out how to do twitter properly. I've changed my account into a human account rather than a business one - I think people can relate much more to that than say a token account. I'm seeing way more success with this over the last two weeks.
That's nearly 1 Million impressions in the last two weeks. It's going to get way better as I grow more and interact more. You can see that this week has been particularly good now that I'm figuring out where to comment and at what times is the best time to place my opinion on something.
A grand total of 2.1K people have visited my profile in the last two weeks out of curiosity and out of that I'm hoping to at least capture a link flow. They say 1% is a good clickthrough rate so we'll go with that. Perhaps 20 people have clicked on my links.
I'm probably going to change my discord link on my twitter profile into something like we have on our Gifubsc one. One where I can take people to a selection of our links. Discord, YouTube, Twitch, all that lovely stuff. Get those people interacting with us in their preferential medium. You know, some people like Discord, others YouTube and so on.
Expect my videos to get better because the music service I'm with have just dropped Motion Graphics to use, and they are really cool -- so I'll be able to level up my video stuff! I've always wanted these types of elements, but it's like £40 a month for that and I can't justify that type of spend for the size of channel we have. Not for how long it'll take us to get anywhere.
That being said, upwards and onwards.
I also think Magic Newton is launching in April so that will be fun - we'll see where that brings us, if it does happen.
