Christmas and New Year has always been joyful time for me . I was born into a polygamous family, so, we are 12 children, I have many elders before me, when I began to grow into a lady ,some.of my sisters started getting married, they left for their husband house and we remain just few of us left.

So, whenever it's time for Christmas like this, we are always happy bcos all our sisters and brothers will come home including their husbands and children. Some of our cousins are always presents as well. We cook and merry together.
Our neighbors then are always jealous of our family that we need no friends,we don't have to go visit anyone in this period bcos we are friends of each other.
But now, I can't even say the cause, like I can't specify what effected us and changed us like this. We no longer cooperate coming home for Xmas, some will be present whe others will be absent giving a lot of excuses that are intangible,this discourages everyone and now no one comes home for Xmas anymore while I realized some house in our neighborhood as well.

I miss the old days anytime we are in this season. I just hope and pray God intervene and brings us back again
