I often say I am burnt out but, I do believe I am. It's not a big bad nasty feeling, just a familiar one where I'm just left sort of frozen. I think I'm due for some sleep more than just the bare minimum. What better timing than on a Sunday? Not too bad at all.
I think one of my favorite athletes ever is legendary basketball player Tim Duncan, I actually think about the guy practically every day. His play style was so effortless and memorable. He always stayed relentlessly fundamentally sound at all times. He seemed admirably committed to never having a wasted movement or motion on the court. He was tough, consistent and never hesitated. Duncan is the epitome of efficiency in my mind. When Duncan crosses my mind it's because of this awesome play style and also his amazing nickname 'The Big Fundamental'. That might be the coolest nickname ever I swear.
That's what's on my mind lately. Having a Tim Duncan like mindset in how I attack life. Fundamentally sound. Stick to the basics. Work smarter, not harder. But also work hard LOL. Don't fix what's not broken but keep an open mind. Baby steps. I intend on hitting all my layups and spamming mini wins. Trying to keep momentum rolling even if it's tiny.
I have a plan that, I'm unsure will work, but I have a hunch. I've been wrong about many things in life, who cares if I'm wrong again LOL. It's all about analyzing. Using trial and error. Adapting, hopefully. Pivot and adjust.
I've been listening to music for the first time in a few weeks which has been nice and yeah just doing my thing. Trying not to panic about problems that don't exist. Trying to just have faith.
It's really nutty that it's already nearly April. Time doesn't care about my feelings, no doubt there. Country miles from my goals but trying to make every moment count.
Tomorrow is a new day and I'm looking forward to making progress. Time for some sleep. Hive on folks.
