This year, a Chinese malware broker accused in the United States of managing malware related to important hacking returned to his former work environment, including a secondary school PC course for Web security.

After a year and a half at a San Diego government facility, Yu Ping-an gave up his plan to submit a PC hack. The middle school educator was caught at Los Angeles International Airport in August 2017 after landing with instructors to see U.S. universities. A Reuters reporter found him here a month ago educating at his old school.

Yoo was disciplined by a government judge in February and granted permission to visit China. The casualties in the hacking plot were those of Qualcomm Inc., a microchip provider, Pacific Scientific Energy Materials Co., an aviation and resistance company, and game company Riot Games. Exactly what was taken from the PC rupture was not found in the open court file.
