Times have certainly changed from when I was a child, and that was a long time ago! Nowadays both parents work and the children go to after school care, by the time they get home, it's time to do homework, so the routine is totally different. I think parents are so tired by the weekends that it's easier for them to let the kids sit inside in front if electronic screens. It really is not the children's fault, it's the playing fields that sadly have changed, not good!
Parents should let the children spend more time outdoors.
