Allah sent the Qur'an to mankind in Arabic to be better understood, because then the prophet Muhammad Saw was born in arabic land, that is the language that Allah sent down (wahyukan) to the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
So Arabic is the unifying language of Muslims throughout the world, as evidence in the prayer we read it in Arabic, not with other languages.

This sounds the verse that says the holy book of the Qur'an is revealed in Arabic.

                                  {2} . إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
                       نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ بِمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ
                         {3} .هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ

Meaning :"We have sent it down in the Qur'an with
Arabic, so that you may understand it.
We tell you the best story by revealing the Qur'an to you and indeed you before (we revealed) it is including people who do not know yet.
