RE: The Game Changers (documentary): Another "fact-filled" pro-vegan production

I am late to the party.
But vegan is someone who cares about the animals in the slaughterhouses.
Plant-based is a diet without the compassion for the animals.

Vegans have a plant-based diet, but you can have a plant-based diet without being vegan.
Does that make sense? :D

Sort:

yes, this is the most respectable side of veganism for sure.

Let's see: have a plant-based diet without being vegan could mean, that you eat mostly plants but aren't 100%? Or perhaps eat animal products but not meat - which would make one vegetarian? Do let me know if i am wrong about this.

Plant-based without being vegan, means you only eat plants just like vegans, but you dont have the same compassion towards animals.
E.g I am plant-based, but you would be able to eat meat in front of me without me saying anything :D

Vegeterian eats diary and eggs.

Plant-based is just a diet :D

gotcha. Well, thankfully most of the vegans i know fall into the category of not being super preachy about it and that is my favorite kind. I was vegetarian yesterday by accident: I just happened to be near the veggo places and figured i'd give them a try.

You are welcome. I dont like being preachy. I do like to poke at my parents diet tho :P

I was vegetarian yesterday by accident hahaha, great :P
