The assertion in "What the Health?" that meat causes diabetes is patently absurd. It is easy to trace the cause to the over consumption of sugar. My own results stand in direct opposition to this bit of vegan propaganda. I've followed a keto diet for over a year and not only reversed Type 2 diabetes, but lowered LDL cholesterol and my blood pressure down to normal levels. My cardiac calcium score came back as 0. I eat a lot of saturated fat from healthy sources. I'm fine with veganism as a choice, but I despise when false science is used to promote it.
