Netflix. A company that I called the future of television networks a few years ago is continuing their work in this field. Their latest new, reboot if you will, show is a new series based on the classic Lost in Space family space drama. They just released a trailer too.
This is not your parent's Lost in Space either. This is not the movie reboot that featured Joey from Friends either. No, this is an all new, sci-fi fans can probably get behind this really easily, reboot that has some teeth to it. Based on the trailer, I have to say, I am excited to see this one.
If anyone at Netflix is reading this, can we get a reboot of Transformers (animated, in the style of the 80's cartoon), GI Joe and how about continuing the awesome story arc of He-Man from the 2002 reboot that died oh so early?
And this is why Cable and Satellite will disappear. They have nothing to offer.
They have stuff to offer but it is hidden behind huge monthly bills. Networks are figuring out that there is money in the lower "direct to fans" option with apps like CBS All-Access (which has a couple of new, original shows). Netflix is still beating them all though - even though movies are of the older variety, they are certainly moving away from content by others, as we can see with stuff like Lost in Space.
I am perfectly fine with that myself.
I like science fiction movies this looks good, thanks for the friend trailer and the recommendation greetings ..
Can't wait to see it !
