Luckily, it is from fires hundreds of miles away but those fires in California are devastating.
It always seemed strange to me that mankind has learned to send people into space and create a terrible destructive force of weapons, but mankind has not learned how to protect the forest. This is very strange to say the least. There are modern technologies, there is modern technology, and large forests are subject to fires and destruction. Conclusion. People are wrong about important priorities!
Funny you mentioned this tid bit about protecting the Forest. My Father gave me the name Taelor, named after a character in Nordic/Aryan mythology supposedly, this person protected the forest after Gods had destroyed it or made a mess out it of with their games.
Turns out however, he did not fully understand that this character was a female character. It is why you will find mostly women in Europe with this name spelling🤣
