What a brilliant article! Factual, with educated opinion and particularly enjoyed the piece about religion and how if it defines you, anything that challenges that will be a cause for trouble. I think "religion" though can also be defined as core beliefs. Not necessarily believing in a God as such but having beliefs of right and wrong and if that comes under scrutiny and it defines you, then violence can result.
Fascinating the amount of research going on at the moment in this field of neuroscience. So much to learn about our own complex human nature :)
