Its not news to the well informed how powerful computers are and what they can do. Around the 1970's they were used to solve mathematical equations, hence the name computers, or computing machine. The role technologies play in society are evolving alongside the computer power and miniaturization of transistors and integrated circuits. With computing power, comes exponentiation of possibilities and the power to know anything.
This article will propose several routes to Neurotechnologies for Intelligence Magnification as concisely as possible intentionally omitting many details and related topics, such as safety, Neuro tech for medicine, communication, machine control biocomputation, MEMS, rf engineering and many more.
SIMPLE NONINVASIVE TECHNIQUE : This device could be just like a hat, or sunglasses. You could control your computer screen with nerve, neural and bio-acoustic pulses from your body and brain, thus surpassing the speed of operation from a normal primitive keyboard and mouse. Your brain will first be calibrated by a machine that scans your neural architecture, collects data also through providing stimuli of which are measured to view neurotransmitter mechanisms. Neural architecture types will be in database through which predictive modeling will culminate, the more data the higher accuracy of the analytics program. The data from neurotech device, lets say the size of sunglasses, will then transmit a signal to connected devices, not very complex at all. To conclude, this type of neuro- technological device is not revolutionary by any means, you are simply controlling a Graphics User Interface, known as computer screen, with your thoughts through another computer that decoded, organized and categorized neural pulse and other prefrontal cortex bio electric action potentials.
The calibration process could also involve many different methods to achieve results. calibration process would not only measure the neural architecture on different levels, but correspond certain neural pathway activation trigger by certain thought frequencies. So different specific thoughts or memories would translate to computer functions, instead of just controlling a mouse with your mind, you could control the machine instantaneously. How would dedicating and integrating computer command codes embedded in brains memory affect the brain?
Will creating synaptic neuronal information highways devoted to controlling many functions of computers or other machines be bad or good for the homeostatic balance and longevity of the brain's health?
Neurotechnology is 100% possible to achieve, but what and how it is used in the hands of hopefully bioethical humans. Every single thought, emotion, and obviously sensory experiences can be defined as biocomputational neural algorithms that can be measured from bioelelectic voltages, neural circuit dynamics, and the neurotransmitters, neuropeptides, neurohormones which of that those elements are composed
This post is based on the realities that companies such as Neuralink, Kernel and handfuls of other companies backed by some elites, that are R&Ding neurotechnologies. Neuralink's publicly admitted their approach is high bandwidth microchips for communication, GUI control of computer and possibly information retrieval. Neurotechnologies have been used and are being used in a primitive way but very important way currently, medicine. Stephen Hawking controlled a computer GUI to speak for him, people with prosthetic functional moving limbs, although connected to the nervous system. are examples of neurotechnologies.
So what will be the first step for humanity experimenting with and deploying neural technological enhancements for medicine, genetic engineering, control of computer GUI or other machines, communication, and the most difficult to achieve in a sustainable safe way= instantaneous information upload to know anything you think of.
and when cognition and a organic computer( the brain) is integrated it becomes pretty advanced.
Future posts on neurotechnology will focus on more advanced routes, some of which are intrusive, but mostly like to focus on the non-intrusive mechanisms. Look forward to learning more about and discussing the communications and instantaneous information retrieval soon.
This is the first post and will continue with topics aligned with computer science, electric engineering, technology, advanced technologies, AI, neurotechnologies, quantum computing, supercomputing, neural networks, genetics engineering, solar power, theoretical physics, R, python, software engineering, algorithms, data products, data science & so much more.
