In my opinion, the ethical thing to do is the following,
contact the people put at risk by the informant, and make a deal with them that you will tell them who amongst them is an informant IF they commit to not harming them.
My logic here is the following: These people that you are warning are at risk of falling exactly in the same position as the informant a couple cycles of intel forward, so their protection from government/police abuse is equally important as the informant's protection, on the other side the person informing as you mention is being coerced so no harm should come to them.
This way the circle around the informant can mitigate the damage done by the informant to some degree (move/vanish/change MO/make what the informant knows become irrelevant) and the personal safety of the informant is protected.
