The Avila is a gigantic plant lung, located Litoral within the mountain range of the Coast, in the center-north of Venezuela and it extends from Caracas, and all the north of the Miranda state. This mountainous formation is considered emblematic and vegetal lung of the city of Caracas, was declared National Park on December 12, 1958. where its inhabitants who assume the risk of entering inside, discover the natural beauty of its flora and fauna.
Currently, within the park there are several crossings of roads, these are of great recreational and tourist importance, being frequently used by hikers and athletes from Caracas who like nature and outdoor activities and can also climb in the Longest telephone service in Latin America.
