The Air France A380 aircraft then landed safely, two hours after the engine cover incident and the A380 fan was released.

Passengers are also able to get off the plane two hours later after landing and stop, because the airport in Goose Bay does not have supporting equipment (passenger ladder) to serve the A380 type aircraft.
