Unusual sights of New York

in #new7 years ago

Every time I see this city in the next film, I mentally move to this city, I walk around the streets next to a wide variety of people, admire architecture and I penetrate that unforgettable atmosphere, which is filled with streets of New York. But the city is notable not only for the sights that are all known. It also has a number of places that can be an opening for a tourist who wants to get to know the city more closely.

Observation towers Astro-Viev
Built on the occasion of the World Fair, these towers are ideal for taking off flying saucers in the movie People in the Black. In the middle of the last century, these towers served as a viewing platform for tourists. At the moment they are abandoned.

High Line Park
This park is based on the place of an abandoned metro branch, which was planned to be brought to the surface, but in connection with the environmental problems caused by the construction, construction had to be stopped. For many years the branch remained untouched and it was already wanted to dismantle, but at the last moment a group of enthusiasts suggested turning this place into a park. Here you can find an island of tranquility in the midst of a busy metropolis.

Air Tram The Tram
In New York, there are many small islands connected in various ways. One of them is the air tram The Tram. It is a modernized cable car, along which the tram moves, which develops quite a decent speed. The cabin accommodates up to 110 people, including the possibility of planting people with disabilities. From it comes a beautiful view of Midtown and East Side.

Bookstore Barnes & Noble
If you like reading, you will definitely like it here. This store is more like a library, and if it were not for the sale of related products for reading, it can easily be confused with it. In this store, you can read any book simply by taking it from the shelf and sitting down on the empty seat.

The fountain of Unisphere
This fountain was built for the World Fair together with the Astro-Viev observation towers and is located in the same park. It is a globe, belted by three orbits, over which the first flights around the Earth in space were struck. For a long time this fountain was abandoned, but in the late 1990s it was reconstructed.
