First and foremost, I would like to say thank you for all the support that Jon has gotten since his passing. This has shown how great the Sythe community and friends have been for our friend and his family during this tragic time.
I first met Jon at the spirit tree in the Grand Exchange on Runescape. This is where and when the DragonDyce spot was flourishing with players trading hosts to play dice, the greatest time of DragonDyce. Jon at the time was a Silver Star but had been temporarily de-ranked from the clan for some reason, he told me it was for inactivity (May have been something else since hosts didn't really disclose clan information to non-hosts). Shortly after he came onto the non-host teamspeak and introduced himself to me. I believe he was doing a non-host hide and seek where he gave items as prizes if you located him on the RuneScape map in game.
During the time before I was a host, Jon and I occasionally spoke as we used to joke about him being Jewish and I was Muslim so we made racist jokes lol. Once I become a host, Jon was a gold star and I was on buy-in for 1.5b. All the countless times on teamspeak where everyone would joke around and talk about random things were the golden times, and I'm sure Jon really enjoyed this part of the clan. Those were some of the best days, and think on how much DragonDyce has had an impact on Jon's life and how much joy he had during these times.
DragonDyce was Jon's second family, we've all been through the tough and good times together.

Rest easy Jon, you fought harder than anyone I have known and your perseverance has taught me a lot about life and never giving up. Thank you for everything you've done for me, you were always there for me when nobody else was, and you have taught me so much throughout the years I have known you.
A friend of mine has posted a thread on Sythe explaining Jon's passing and his conditions:
Jon 1993-2016
"'On November 2, 2012 Jonathan, then a freshman in college, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This is a type of cancer that affects the blood or bone marrow causing an abnormal increase of white blood cells. On February 7, 2013, two and a half months into treatment things turned tragic for Jonathan when he developed an aggressive and deadly life threatening fungal infection called Mucormycosis, which required him to remain hospitalized at Roswell Park Cancer Institute for 7 1/2 months and was given a 1% chance at survival. This infection was also in his Cerebellum, right atrium of the heart and his lungs. Jonathan was taken to surgery and after 8 hours, we were told that the infection did not reach the orbit around the eye, allowing them to finish the surgery. Against all odds, he survived and after numberous surgeries and treatments, was able to get therapy and learn to walk again.
The last 3.5 years have continued to be a nightmare for his family, trying to keep up with his ongoing medical treatments out of town and the many complications that resulted from them, all while trying to function as a family.
Jonathan is currently in ICU at Sloan-Kettering Hospital. Jon recently received a Bone Marrow Transplant. His transplant numbers were encouraging. Unfortunately, Jonathan has developed a lung Infection and is being incubated in ICU. They are not sure Jonathan is going to make it.
Jonathan's family has been by his side throughout his medical nightmare.
In addition to Jonathan's ongoing health crisis, his family is struggling financially and risk losing their home.'"
On the thread there is a gofundme link for Jon's Family and their medical bills, along with the community's responses to Jon's passing.
I will also put the link here: Jonathan's Cancer Fund
My condolences to Jon's Family and I pray god will make it easy for you.
Rest easy brother.
