I am a student, but at the same time, I am also a farmer and livestock breeder. This is because about 70% of the people in Bangladesh depend on agriculture for their livelihood. In other words, farming is our primary profession. Around 70% of Bangladesh’s population lives in villages, while about 30% reside in cities. Among them, approximately 70% are educated, and the rest are also knowledgeable, but perhaps not highly educated. However, they possess a type of social wisdom that we may never attain because they are always connected to the soil.

Some people in villages couldn’t continue their education due to financial problems or because they lost their fathers and had no one to support them. As a result, many villagers choose agriculture as their profession. Today, even many educated individuals are turning to farming as a career. After all, civilization itself began with agriculture, leading to the development of major companies and industries.

There are various branches of agriculture—some people engage in livestock farming, some in fish farming, some in crop cultivation, and others in vegetable farming, among many other forms of agricultural work. Among these, I have chosen livestock farming. My goal is to become a successful livestock farmer and a great entrepreneur.

☞What Type of Farming Have I Chosen?:-

In my farm, I raise ducks, chickens, quails, parrots, and other birds. I started this farm by turning my passion into a productive venture. This way, I can fulfill my passion while also becoming a farmer and entrepreneur. Taking care of these birds gives me joy, and at the same time, they provide eggs and meat, which help fulfill our nutritional needs.

☞How to Take Care of the Farm?:-

To properly care for the farm animals, they must be given a balanced diet daily. They should be provided with various vegetables, fruits, and other nutritious foods. Additionally, they need antibiotics and medicines to keep them healthy. The farm must have adequate ventilation and sunlight. To prevent the spread of diseases, disinfectants should be used regularly. Constant monitoring is necessary, and understanding their health issues is crucial. Only then can one become a good farmer and livestock breeder.
