In relation to question 16. I really got caught out. I subscribed to Steem auto and followed what they said without really understanding what I was doing. I noticed a few days ago that my voting power gauge was down to 38% so I stopped upvoting for a few days. Then I checked a few days later and it was down to 13%. I checked my voting history and it said I had made a whole lot of upvotes recently when I actually hadn’t touched the upvote button. I think I have figured out it was the steemauto site doing it so I have now deauthorized them from voting on my behalf as that’s what I think I allowed them to do without realising it. Maybe I’m wrong but it’s the only answer I’ve been able to come up with. I will now have to wait for four or five days before I can upvote which I feel guilty about every time I read something I like a lot. So basically at the moment an upvote from me is worth nothing. I’m going to monitor activity closely over the next couple of days to make sure my suspicions were correct and make sure my voting gauge increases.
You are correct about what probably happened. Same thing happened to me when I subscribed to a different club. Its ok though, just stop it and let it recharge... Its actually good because it will force you to comment more and interact instead of just upvoting...
And as far as feeling guilty, don't. Everyone goes through this process and realizes that people only have 10 votes a day. there are many more than 10 things everyone would like to upvote. So the way to recognize something really good is to resteem or comment. I think both are equally valuable and I am very flattered when I see someone do that for me.
So no worries, just expand the ways you can show your respect and this experience will be a very important positive for you in the future!
