Hi El - I started off as a Steem Engine user, which did tend to get me upvotes and follows. However, since then, I've found that being part of Steem-related communities is much more satisfying. One of the ones that I follow is the group ASAPers, which is how I found your post! It's just my opinion, but interacting with a group is much better than blindly upvoting articles in a swap. Haha. Hi @yekrats :), I don't believe we have met yet..nice to be acquainted here. I do agree with you, it's good to belong to a community, however I do like to do random commenting because you never know whom you connect with outside the community platforms. Personally I try to mix it up.
I have met some great people through commenting on trending tags, hot etc.
