4 most awaited new cars in India in 2020

With the beginning of the new year, car lovers are waiting to see which new vehicles make it to the shores of the country. Even the domestic manufacturers would be bringing out some attractive models this year. With the Auto Expo 2020 held very recently, lots of new cars would be available to Indian buyers shortly. A lot of manufacturers have showcased their products and piqued the interest of buyers. Electric vehicles are gaining ground in recent years. Let us take a look at the new car list that is among the most awaited in the country.

1. Hyundai Aura

If you follow the new car launch, one of the cars that you need to keep an eye on is the Hyundai Aura. The sedan has been launched in the country on 21st January. Hyundai had witnessed a dip in the sales figures as more and more customers were eager to go for small SUVs instead of the regular sedans. The Aura will serve as a replacement of the Xcent and will be an improvement in every department. The car has been priced from Rs. 5.79 lakh for the base variant. The top-spec diesel AMT variant has been priced at Rs. 9.22 lakh.

2. Skoda Karoq SUV

The Skoda Karoq will be available in the country from April 2020. It is a mid-sized SUV and it would be offering a good competition to cars like Jeep Compass or MG Hector. The Karoq will be the first SUV from Skoda in the Indian market. The price would be somewhere around Rs. 18 to Rs. 22 lakh. The Karoq crossover was first unveiled in 2017 and it is a successor of the Skoda yeti that was available in India previously. The cabin is much like most cars from Skoda. The upholstery, climate control system and the dashboard look very similar to what you can find in other models.

3. Audi E-Tron

The E-Tron new car launch in India will take place pretty soon, after being revealed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The car is already on sale in global markets and the car will be making its way into India very soon. The car has sharp and edgy styling, without losing the conventional touch. There is an octagonal grille on the front end with active flaps. From the sides, the silhouette of the car looks very much like a typical SUV. The size is somewhere between the Q5 and the Q7. The rear has a sloping roofline with LED taillights running across the boot of the car.

4. Kia Carnival

Kia Carnival is among the new cars in India that are being awaited at the moment. After the success of Kia Seltos, the company is now preparing for the next launch. The Kia Carnival is a minivan and there is not much competition in this segment. The car is going to be launched very soon. It will be available in 3 variants - Premium, Prestige, and Limousine. The car is available in varieties of 6, 7 and 8 seaters.
