We have hit a point where Bitcoin has managed to become a household name. It has gained notoriety despite a large segment know nearly nothing about it. I think a big factor that drives newcomers away from the concept of cryptocurrencies as a whole is how the whole concept of ownership of it works. There is not currently a platform that is as simple and also has the level of customer support that a traditional brokerage would have.
