Welcome, @editom -- here's to your success on Steemit, and in your studies!
A couple of things you need to know:
- Good writing is KING on Steemit
- If you use images other than your own, then you need to source them properly. I like to use [Unsplash]http://(www.unsplash.com) for good pictures!
- Learn to use the search function in Steemit early and often when you have questions about how to use Steemit. Also, check out @pifc, @team-ccc, and @c-curated -- read things that they feature to learn what opportunities are available for you to write to, and also the standard of writing rewarded here.
- Look up "50 best tags" in the search box on Steemit, and use the tags listed when they PROPERLY apply to what you choose to write about. Your FIRST tag on every post is the category your article will be featured in and searched for by that category's readers.
- Your ability to post is very limited at first, so do this: write one post, then read and comment on 4-5 other posts. This will help you make connections and also bring people to read your writing. Do this at least three times a week. Five is better!
- When you feel confident in your writing, look up @pifc's "Pimp Your Post" contest -- it comes up every Sunday. You can get some attention to one post a week that way.
- Keep writing, even though the rewards will be small at first. If you produce good articles consistently, you will get noticed and people will help you to further success!
She said she's not using steemit. She's using steempeak and partiko.
And that's a good thing.
