Many times people ignore the initial signs of heart disease and the consequence of this negligence is often fatal.
In one of every six cases of death due to heart disease, people forget to take note of early warning. This has come out in a survey conducted in the UK.In this connection, researchers studied all cases of patients recruited due to heart attack and death in hospitals between 2006 and 2010.
The team of Imperial College of London found that in 16 per cent of cases, patients who were admitted to the hospital had died in 28 days.
These patients had complaints of chest pain, but in spite of this there was a mistake in their investigation.
The British Heart Foundation has described the findings of this research as a matter of concern.
Researchers associated with the School of Public Health of Imperial College say that there is 'immediate need' for further research in this regard.
The symptoms of heart attack are:
Chest pain - pressure in the chest, feeling soft in the middle of the heart
Pain in other parts of the body - pain may come from the chest (usually affecting the left hand, but both hands can cause pain), feel the jaw, neck, back and stomach.
Feeling uneasy or dizzy
Sweaty
Difficulty breathing
Nausea, vomiting
Feeling restless
Cough seizures, breathing heavily.
Although a heart attack often causes severe pain in the chest, but some people are only complaining of mild pain. In some cases there is no pain in chest, especially in people with women, elderly and diabetes.
