- 15 tourists were seriously injured following the collapse of a dilapidated suspension bridge in China, although the authorities warned them against boarding the bridge, according to the British Daily Mail newspaper.
- The bridge, located in eastern China's Hubei Province, fell to tourists and some of them were tied to a rope, the newspaper said.
- A newspaper video showed the tourists tied to a rope and walking on a tree in the middle of the bridge, which crashed on its side, causing the deaths of 15 tourists, some on the beach and others in the river amid the cries of everyone.
- The video shows the bridge, made of wood and ropes, in poor condition and damaged, and a part of it has fallen completely.
- The newspaper said authorities opened an investigation into the incident after the fall of tourists over the bridge.
