Japanese messaging company Line said today it will launch its own cryptocurrency exchange allowing users to trade digital currencies within its app.
In today's statement, Tokyo-based chat has confirmed that it has filed an application with the Financial Services Agency (FSA) - the Japanese financial regulator - to initiate crypto money exchange transactions. The application is still being reviewed.
The company has applied to the FSA to launch operations that want to participate in a new breath from the crypto money stock market in Japan, which is more than 30. The FSA has accepted the application of 16 crypto money exchanges from applications so far.

Line will continue to use this new company as a base and will continue to apply its messaging to expand its financial business as it proceeds with its preparations to offer various financial services such as crypto currencies, loans and insurance purchases and exchanges in the future.
