Two activists of Chhatra League have been hacked to death by the miscreants in the
symbolic
Moulvibazar area on Thursday. In the evening, miscreants attacked and hacked them on the southwest of Moulvibazar Government High School in the city.
The deceased were identified as Sultan Mohammad, a second year student of Moulvibazar Government College. Nahid Ahmad Mahi, from this year's SSC examinations from Shabab and Moulvibazar Government High School. Sawab is the son of Abu Bakar Siddiqui of Syed Mujtaba Ali Road of Moulvibazar city. Nahid is the son of Billal Miah of Durlawpur village of Moulvibazar Sadar upazila.
No one could explain why this killing happened. District Chhatra League President and General Secretary said that this incident has not happened due to the organization's conflict or political reasons. For some other reasons this pair may have been killed.
Police, hospital and local sources said, Sultan Md. Shabab and Nahid Ahmad were attacked by miscreants in front of the gate of the hostel at the Moulvibazar Government High School ground on the south-west side. The miscreants left them with a sharp weapon and left them behind them. After the local people saw them lying in the ground, they went to Maulvibazar 250-bed hospital at 7pm. The doctors at the hospital declared them dead.
Sultan Md. Sahab's maternal uncle Rafat Chowdhury said in the first light, 'Sawab is my cousin's son. He was a student of Moulvibazar Government College. Chattra League did. I can not say anything because of what happened. '

Local sources said there was no one in the evening on the spot. So no one has seen how many miscreants were or how they came and where they went after the murder.
Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Suhel Ahmed said, the dead were both BCL. The incident happened due to internal reasons. There are no details available yet. The police are investigating the incident.
