BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has been on a roll as of late, seizing several towns and almost all of the Daraa Governorate's eastern countryside.
In a recent video released by ANNA News, the elite Tiger Forces can be seen capturing town after town in the Al-Lajat region, while also destroying several rebel hideouts inside the Daraa Governorate.
As shown in the close combat footage above, the Syrian Army did in fact encounter heavy resistance from the rebel forces; however, their attack proved too much for the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham.
With the complete collapse of the rebel forces in east Daraa, the Syrian Arab Army was able to secure a reconciliation deal with the Free Syrian Army in the historical city of Busra Al-Sham.
The militant forces in Busra Al-Sham are now preparing to handover their heavy and medium weapons to the Russian Reconciliation Center, as they begin the process of reconciliation with the government forces in southeast Daraa.
Once Busra Al-Sham is reconciled, the Syrian government will have control of the entire western axis of the Al-Sweida Governorate for the first time since the start of the armed conflict in Syria.
