After Real Madrid claimed that a deal for De Gea would be complete after the UCL final and before the world cup, fans around the world not only looked forward to the UCL but to news on De Gea. According to the DailyStar De Gea called Real Madrid the day after the UCL final and delivered a transfer ultimatum. "I will only come if Navas goes."
A huge statement to make after Navas impressed Madristas around the globe in the UCL final. Navas is competent even if he does make mistakes however De Gea is the best in the world. If Real Madrid were to sell Navas and then couldn't land land De Gea they would be in a very tight spot. Mourinho does not want to let go of the Spaniard however Real Madrid want him and are offering ridiculous funds to coy the United superstar back to his home country.
